GAGASI 99.5 USES ITS BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN INTERACT WITH LISTENERS
Gagasi 99.5 continues to interact with listeners using its newly launched billboard campaign. The billboard, showing the faces of the breakfast show team Alex Mthiyane, Mamgo Ngubane, Kini Shandu and Minenhle Nxumalo, hit the streets three weeks ago as part of the station’s “Gagasi Style” campaign.
There has been a change in the billboards as it now shows the faces of three presenters with the face of one presenter missing. As part of driving the interaction with the listeners, there is a competition currently running on-air and on the station’s website where listeners are invited to spot the difference on the billboard from the previous image and stand the chance to win exciting prizes.
Gagasi 99.5 Managing Director Chris Meyiwa says the feedback from the public regarding the billboard so far has shown the extent to which people are attached to the station. “We have been getting calls and emails from people in other parts of KZN requesting that we also put the billboard in their areas, the level of excitement has been amazing. Now we are taking this billboard campaign to another level by actually engaging the listener in the way we present the brand by bringing all elements together, on-air, online, the billboard and the listener,” Says Meyiwa.
Meyiwa concluded by urging listeners to keep listening as there is more to come on the campaign. “It’s still the early stages of the campaign and our listeners can expect to see more exciting developments as Gagasi Style unfolds and takes this summer by storm,” concludes Meyiwa.
