GAGASI 99.5 APPOINTS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

Gagasi 99.5, The Sound of the City, is pleased to announce the appointment of the new Managing Director today!
Mr Christopher Meyiwa will assume the leadership role at Kwazulu Natal’s favourite radio station with immediate effect.

Chris joins Gagasi after a successful 17-year career at South African Breweries (SAB). At SAB, he managed a number of regional business centres, including the South Gauteng region. He previously also worked at Ernst&Young. He holds a B Sc degree from the University of Zululand, a B Compt (Hons) from Wits and an MBL from UNISA.

Born and bred in Umlazi, Chris is a KZN boy at heart and has an intrinsic understanding of this growing market. When he was approached for this position, he relished the opportunity to return home and take on this new challenge.

The acting MD, Rene Schutte, will resume her position at the head office in Johannesburg.
