 Vusi Letsoalo

About me / Bio

Vusi Letsoalo was born in Johannesburg and studied in KwaZulu Natal at Inkamana High School in Vryheid. He started his radio career in 1992 and showed a flair for radio. His radio experience exposed him to a lot of dignitaries, personalities, entrepreneurs and a lot of influential people in business and on a personal level.

He became a household name whilst working at one of the national Broadcasters Commercial radio stations.  His popularity saw him being approached by Panasonic to endorse their products both on print and television. He was the face and ambassador for Panasonic.. Vusi was the first South African to have his show broadcast in different cities abroad from Los Angeles to Miami and New York City. During this tour, Vusi had a one on one interview with the Grammy Award winner R. Kelly in Miami.

This was just one of the many interviews that Vusi had conducted and the list is endless including a number of international artists like the late Aaliyah, Brandy, Avant, Keith Sweat, Deborah Cox, Syleena Johnson, Bebe Winans the list is endless. He has also played host at a number of events like Mr. Carlton, Miss Durban. The “Durban Winter Bash” followed and it was a feature of club deejays as they played in and around Durban night clubs.         


Quirky Question
If you were cast to play James Bond in a movie to be done in any African language – which language would you use and why?

Tswana – Because I think it’s the sexiest African language – it just rolls of the tongue!
