Jacqueline Thandolwethu "Sexa" Ngidi started radio by accident - I called into a radio station for a competition and next thing they're offering me a job. I became the voice of a character in a magazine called Sexaholic. She was racy Agony Aunt and sex goddess. I worked with Bad Boy T for a while then worked with Msizi Shembe. In early 2000 I got a call from KG Moeketsi who was a Programmes manager at P4 Durban about co-hosting the breakfast show with Chili M. I also hosted the week end breakfast show at the same time. In 2006 the station rebranded itself and changed to Gagasi. I co-hosted the drive show with Just-Ice. I then Left KZN but later returned to co host the drive with Makhosi Khoza in 2009.
The worst day of my life: Losing my mom in 2008
Love of my life: My job - Honestly the best part of my day is in the studio.
Hobbies: Collecting DVD’s, listening to Hip-hop, cooking and I’m damn good at it.
Pets: None! After a gold fish died in my care after only a week I’m staying away from animals.
Favourite TV show/s: Fringe, American dad, family guy, lie to me
Favourite Musos: Jay-Z, Biggie, Lira, India Arie
Addictions: Chocolate, bath stuff and clean towels (that’s become a bit weird I obsess about clean towels) I laugh at horror flicks and love everything about the English.

If you were to trade jobs with anyone – who would it be?
I would trade places with the Music Manager in a heartbeat. Being surrounded by music all day, getting to hear all the latest music before anyone else and studying music trends would be fantastic! |
