MOVIE JUNKY - Terms and Conditions
Before you enter the competition please read competition rules below:
1. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as well as the standard Gagasi FM’s competition rules available at http://www.gagasi995.co.za/Competitions/Disclaimer.aspx
2. The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact
3. Participants / listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd's competition;
4. The Movie Junky is a daily promotional competition. The competition will be played on Alex and the Crew show at approximately 06:40 from Monday to Friday.
5. This competition involves the playing of a movie clip or soundtrack of a movie or dialogue of a movie from which the listeners will be asked to identify the full title of the movie. The DJ’s are only allowed to give clues as to the movie title before they take any calls.
6. The prize is two (2) movie tickets plus two (2) large popcorn and two (2) regular cool drinks at any Ster Kinekor.
7. To enter the competition, the listeners must call 0861 596 596. The DJ’s or producer will select 5 random callers and the first caller to answer correctly will win the prize. If all 5 callers do not answer correctly then the prize will not be given out and the movie clip will be carried over to the next day’s competition.
8. The Movie Junky promotional competition will be run along the following lines:
a. If a caller gives the correct answer and the call is cut for whatever reason. Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s will allow that caller to call back within 24 hours and claim prize. If the caller fails to call back, the prize will be forfeited.
b. The quality of the reception is the responsibility of the caller and he or she must ensure that they have good reception. If the quality of the reception is bad or the contestant losses reception, Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd and its affiliates will not be held responsible.
c. If the DJ’s or the producer hears that the contestant is being aided or assisted or coaxed in any manner whatsoever, he or she will be immediately disqualified and the other contestant will move onto the next day or win the grand prize money.
d. The full name of the movie must be given by the caller in order for he or she to win the prize.
e. The person who calls into the show and identifies the movie title must be the same person who collects the prize.
9. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
10. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
11. Prizes are to be collected from GagasiFM, studios in Umhlanga at your travelling own expense, between Monday and Friday, between 08h30 and 17h30 within 30 days of notification. Winners will be notified telephonically
12. You will need proof of identity (a valid Identity Document or Passport) when you collect your prize from the GagasiFM studios
13. You will be disqualified if:
• You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
• You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the past three months.
