1. The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact;
2. Participants / listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd's competition;
3. The agreement or transaction entered into, or payment made by or under it, will not give rise to any legal rights, duties or consequences whatsoever. By entering into and participating in any competition, the participant/ listener waives his/her right to institute any litigation or legal action against Radio iGagasi, from whatsoever cause arising. All such arrangements, agreements and transactions will be binding in honour only;
4. Entitlement to a prize, is restricted to one prize per listener in a three month period, and one listener per household during a three month period. Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd reserves the right not to award a prize if the listener or a member of the listener's household has won a prize during the three-month window period. This condition also applies to listeners who provide family or friend's contact details;
5. Prizes must be collected from Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd offices between 08h30 & 17h30 Monday to Friday only. Prizes may not be collected over the weekend, or when Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd offices are closed.
6. Participants must have attained the age of eighteen (18) at the time of the competition, unless otherwise stipulated;
7. Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to limit the number of entries made by any one individual, through the various entry platforms for a competition;
8. Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd reserve the right to redistribute or dispose, at it's sole discretion, all prizes not claimed after one month of being won or being given away on air or on the Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd website;
9. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or any other prize, nor are they transferable;
10. The winners of overseas / international travel prizes and their partner need to be in possession of valid passports;
11. No employees and immediate family of employees of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd, nor shareholders or board members of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd, Kagiso Media and Makana Investments or their immediate families nor any PR or advertising agents associated with Radio iGagasi, are allowed to participate or enter any competition on this radio station or related platforms;
12. Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel and / or suspend any competition;
13. Finalists will forfeit their participation in the competition if they fail to attend any designated draw, unless specified otherwise;
14. The participants/listeners entering or taking part in any competition authorize Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd to publish or distribute any or all the details of the participant, to take pictures/photographs of the participant and publish these pictures/photographs, in any forum it may deem suitable, without any liability on the part of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd and or remuneration due to the participant.
15. Participants/ Listeners agree that they may in addition to the competition rules cited herein be bound by certain specific rules prescribed in respect of certain specific competitions held by Radio iGagasi and/or its partners or sponsors, which are incorporated herein, although not specifically referred to.

1. Be careful of people who call you telling you you've won a prize on Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd - especially if you know you have not entered any competition on the radio station. If you do receive a call and you know you've never entered any competition, the caller is not one of our representatives.
2. Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd representatives will never visit your home or place of work to say you're a winner or to deliver a prize, unless this has been pre-arranged with you or if it is part of a competition mechanic.
3. Unless pre-arranged with you, the only prize collection point from Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd is from the reception area at: The Solstice, Corner Zenith & Solstice Umhlanga Newtown Umhlanga Ridge.
4. If you do receive a suspicious call, ask the caller for their name and the Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd switchboard telephone number and phone the caller back. Any number either than 031 - 584 5300 is not the radio station's number and the caller is probably trying to trick you.
5. Never give your ID Number unless you are speaking to the radio station DJ whilst you're participating in a competition.
6. Never give your banking details to anyone who claims to be a representative of the station. Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd only accepts faxed banking details which are faxed to 031 - 566 6801. |
